Molly takes first place!
According to Ms. Robertson: "I had an absolute blast
meeting students as well as faculty from all over the globe who share the same interests as I do. I learned so much and enjoyed every moment. I am going to continue to dedicate myself to scientific research and my community."
Molly Robertson, Del Mar College biotechnology student for 2012, won first place in a nationwide competition against more than 60 students from some of the largest universities in the US. Her presentation was last Saturday at the Janelia Farm research campus at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute's 4th Annual Science Education Alliance Symposium. Molly is working this summer at the Lawrence Berkeley Lab on a research internship with Dr. Rob Hatherill. Molly will be returning to campus in the fall to complete her AAS degree in Biotechnology.
