Microtitre Plate Reader

SOP for DuPont Microtitre Plate Reader:

Scope

The microtitre plate reader is used to measure absorbency by measuring the amount of color against light. The microtitre plate reader is used when determining results from the TintElize immunoassay.

Procedure

1. Turn the machine on using the On/Off switch on the right hand side of the machine.
2. The machine should be set at 492 nm.
3. Place 96 well plate on machine, with one well under the nozzle.
4. Press "measure".
5. Repeat.
