Agricultural/Biofuels Process Technology
Typically, biodiesel and ethanol are considered agricultural biofuels. In Iowa, ethanol is derived from corn through fermentation and biodiesel has traditionally been derived from vegetable oil through a chemical process. This program prepares a student to begin a career in the field of bioenergy. It is a hands-on, mechanically oriented program focuses on the mechanics and principles of industrial plant operations.
This is a two year A.A.S. degree.
