Flow Cytometry

Students are trained  to use a Flow Cytometer, a machine that uses lasers to count or sort cells based on fluorescent markers. Flow Cytometry (also called FACS) has a variety of research and clinical applications, especially in the field of immunology. This program combines hands-on experience with courses in immunology and cell biology.
