ATE Student Success: Building a Diverse and Entrepreneurial Workforce
This AACC report distills the insights and experience of over 400 educators attending the 17th National Advanced Technological Education (ATE) Principal Investigators Conference on October 28, 2010.
Session participants described the challenges in accomplishing the goals of 1) developing workplace and entrepreneurial skills and 2) increasing workforce diversity, particularly in the case of underrepresented populations. Session participants also identified strategies for addressing those challenges, along with ways to measure progress.
