Biotech, The Community Way
In 2009, Ted Agres wrote this wonderful article on community college biotechnology programs for Nature magazine. The articles discusses the experiences of students who attended community college as a path to working in the biotech industry.
The programs mentioned in the articles are the biotechnology education programs at Mount Wachusett Community College in Devens, Massachusetts; Madison Area Technical College in Madison, Wisconsin; the National Center for the Biotechnology Workforce at Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and City College of San Francisco, in San Francisco, CA.
