Iowa BioDevelopment (IBD) is the research and training arm at Indian Hills Community College for the bioprocessing industry in Iowa. We provide training and support services for bioenergy, bioprocessing, and value-added agricultural companies. Iowa BioDevelopment is housed in the Iowa Biprocess Training Center (IBTC) in Eddyville, Iowa, which is a 13,000 sq. ft. facility with office, classroom and laboratory space. The IBTC also houses the bioprocess technical programs offered through Indian Hills, which include
Bioprocess Laboratory Technology - A.A.S
Agricultural/Biofuel Process Technology - A.A.S.
Iowa BioDevelopment is intimately linked with these two programs in the sense that successful academic programs that produce highly skilled technicians will contiribute to the success of the bioprocessing industries in the region and state.
