Our Client, a Massachusetts based Biotechnology Company that is focused on the research and development of small molecule cancer drugs, is seeking Clinical Pharmacokinetics Investigator.

Responsibilities: |
Our Client is looking for a clinical pharmacokineticist (PK) to design, conduct, and interpret preclinical and clinical pharmacokinetic studies to support IND registration and clinical development of small molecule therapeutics in oncology. In addition, the candidate will provide hands-on laboratory/ bio-analytical support for preclinical PK/ ADME studies as needed.
Responsibilities
Design and interpretation of PK/TK and PD studies to support preclinical programs, and PK/PD supporting Phase I and Phase II clinical studies Selection and oversight of CRO operations for nonclinical and clinical PK to support regulatory filings Population PK modeling of clinical data Full understanding and use of analysis methods and programs using standard pharmacokinetic data analysis tools such as WinNonLin, NONMEM, SAS, and S-PLUS Bio-analytical support (LC/MS/MS analysis) for PK, metabolism, and ADME studies Will prepare and review reports and documentation to support IND filings Will present to both internal project and clinical teams, and external partners Will represent the department in cross function teams

Qualifications: |
Knowledge and Skills
PhD in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field with 4+ years experience, preferably in the biopharmaceutical industry Experience / Expertise in clinical pharmacokinetics / PK - PD modeling; Clinical Pharmacology study design/ analysis Training and experience in PK, PD and bio-analytical chemistry both in the non-GLP and GLP setting applied to small molecule drugs including a strong publication record Analytical experience involving biomatrices and ADME Proficiency in the operation of LC/MS/MS instrumentation is a plus Strong experience in cross-functional teams; ability to build consensus through influence in a matrix management environment A focus in the field of oncology is preferred.
