Responsibilities: |
Kelly Scientific is recruiting for a QC Lab Technician for a chemical company in Charlotte, NC. This position will be a temporary position with rotating shift hours (6:00am â€" 2:00pm, 2:00pm â€" 10:00pm, some weekends on call). The primary responsibilities will include QC tasks and analyses for chemical manufacturing products.
Position Description:
• Test and/or review raw materials, manufactured products and trading goods in accordance with required schedules and procedures to ensure materials are within specification
• Perform QC tests using wet test methods
• Utilize GC (Chemstation) and LC (Millenium) instrumentation for chromatography analyses.
• Enter data into SAP
• Make process adjustments and assist production operators with trouble-shooting issues

Qualifications: |
Experience / Skills / Education:
• BS in Chemistry preferred
• Experience with SAP and 1-2 years of lab experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
