- Open the cabinet's hood.
- Place sample/specimen to be shaken/incubated in the center of the stainless steel platform (always use Ehrlenmeyer flask or test tubes in holders).
- Secure with clay by molding around base of flask or test tube rack and sticking to stainless steel platform.
- Close the cabinet's hood.
- Turn on main power switch (1).
- Set temperature control know (3) to desired temperature (appears in degrees Celsius).
- Set temperature limit know (7) to a degree or two above the desired temperature set in previous step.
- Set RPM thumbsheel switch (10) to desired Revolutions Per Minute as stated in the protocol.
- Start unit by flipping shaker power switch (2) to the ON position.
- Shake/incubate for the required time stated in the protocol.
- Stop unit by flipping shaker power switch (2) to the OFF position. Do not use the start/stop button (9).
