  1. Open the cabinet's hood.

  2. Place sample/specimen to be shaken/incubated in the center of the stainless steel platform (always use Ehrlenmeyer flask or test tubes in holders).

  3. Secure with clay by molding around base of flask or test tube rack and sticking to stainless steel platform.

  4. Close the cabinet's hood.

  5. Turn on main power switch (1).

  6. Set temperature control know (3) to desired temperature (appears in degrees Celsius).

  7. Set temperature limit know (7) to a degree or two above the desired temperature set in previous step.

  8. Set RPM thumbsheel switch (10) to desired Revolutions Per Minute as stated in the protocol.

  9. Start unit by flipping shaker power switch (2) to the ON position.

  10. Shake/incubate for the required time stated in the protocol.

  11. Stop unit by flipping shaker power switch (2) to the OFF position. Do not use the start/stop button (9).
