Dear Biotechnology Community and Bio-Linkers,
We write to you today to introduce you to InnovATEBIO, the new National Science Foundation-funded Advanced Technological Education Center in Biotechnology. This new center will continue the work of the first national center, Bio-Link, which established much of the communication infrastructure and comradery now in place among individuals in Biotechnology Programs, the Biotechnology industry, ATE centers and projects, workforce agencies, and related-trade organizations.
We hope that the Biotechnology Community (educators, students, industry, workforce and trade organizations) will come to value the InnovATEBIO National Biotechnology Education Center, as we work to help our community in setting up and sustaining programs, working with industry and trade organizations, establishing collaborations with other institutions, recruiting students, educating faculty, writing grants, and serving in leadership roles.
In the coming months, you will notice the Bio-Link website and social media platforms transitioning to the InnovATEBIO brand. The InnovATEBIO leadership is working hard to ensure that the valuable resources and materials generated over the last 20 years through Bio-Link remain available and accessible to the community. Our name may have changed, but our goal of supporting the biotechnology community remains the same.
Thank you for continuing to be an important part of the biotechnology community and the InnovATEBIO family.
We invite you to learn more about the goals and activities of InnovATEBIO as this site changes to www.innovatebio.org
