The Carnegie Academy of Science Education (CASE) is now providing loaner kits for biotechnology.
With funding from the Association of American Medical Colleges and the Shippy Foundation, CASE is now providing complete lab loaner trunks to Washington DC Public Schools and Public Charter Schools. Secondary level teachers, primarily middle school life science and high school biology, chemistry, environmental science and Advanced Placement teachers can use these kits free of charge with their students.
Teachers attend a 3-hour certification session where they use the kits, gain tips for troubleshooting and develop connections with their course content.
